Los mayores de 50 años en la ocupación y prestaciones por desempleo (2005-2025). El caso específico del subsidio por desempleo para mayores de 52 años

Abstract

Dentro del colectivo de personas mayores de 50 años, las que superaban los 67 años fueron casi 9 millones en 2025, mientras que las ubicadas en la horquilla entre 50 y 66 años, es decir, aquellas con una edad más cercana a la de la edad ordinaria de jubilación, han llegado a 12,2 millones de personas en 2025. La participación de este grupo de edad sobre la población en edad de trabajar se acercó al 40%,emitiendo una señal preocupante para el futuro, tanto sobre la disponibilidad de mano de obra en el mercado de trabajo como sobre las obligaciones de gasto del sistema de pensiones.
