Influencia de la Normativa sobre Restricciones Técnicas en el Comportamiento de los Agentes en el Mercado Eléctrico Espanol

Abstract

Este artículo presenta una revisión de los estudios empíricos sobre localización industrial y una aplicación ilustrativa de los resultados que proporcionan. Las especificaciones más habituales en la literatura son modelos de elección discreta (en los que el énfasis recae sobre el agente decisor) y/o de recuento (énfasis en el territorio escogido), pero la ausencia de datos apropiados en Espana solo permite realizar inferencias basadas en estos últimos. Las estimaciones así obtenidas para los municipios catalanes indican que mientras que factores institucionales como la capitalidad de provincia son claramente relevantes, las economías de aglomeración y localización apenas lo son.
