Vivienda y políticapública: objetivos e instrumentos

Abstract

Tras destacar las características que hacen de la vivienda un bien diferente de cualquier otro, en esta monografía se discuten las aproximaciones más utilizadas en su estudio y se utilizan para analizar los efectos de distintos instrumentos de política, apoyándose también en la evidencia empírica existente sobre el tema. Las políticas analizadas sonlos controles de alquileres, las subvenciones a la vivienda para las familias de renta baja,las políticas directas de vivienda (oferta de vivienda pública y de protección oficial) y los impuestos y/o subvenciones dirigidos a la vivienda principal habitadapor su propietario.
