L'auberge espagnole y el apartamento francés: los determinantes del aprendizaje del francés en España

Abstract

En este capítulo analizamos el aprendizaje del francés como lengua extranjera de los alumnos de España a partir de los datos del Estudio Europeo de Competencia Lingüística (EECL de aquí en adelante). En España, la Ley Orgánica de Educación establece que los alumnos deben cursar obligatoriamente una lengua extranjera y, de forma optativa, podrán estudiar una segunda. Lo habitual es que la primera lengua extranjera sea el inglés (y se empiece en la Educación Primaria) y que la segunda el francés (y se empiece en la Educación Secundaria).
