Abstract

This report mainly focuses on agricultural research and education so as to make the system demand-driven, enhance technology flow to farmers and bring transformational changes in Indian agriculture. The report gives key objectives, strategy for technology development, their integration and transfer to farmers and major thrust areas. There is exclusive discussion on basic and strategic research and human resource development through education programmes.
