Abstract

Optimising wealth creation and management is the new game that the corporate leaders across the continents have to play with pragmatism, sagacity and dexterity. Slow movers, lower performers, standard bearers are being out-witted by pacers, standard setters and visionaries. The stakeholders, in particular, shareholders, support the march towards greater value creation which has led to a new market for corporate control. The power shift from one set of controlling shareholders is being organized through corporate mergers, takeovers and raids.
