Modelos ideales de familia en la sociedad española

Abstract

La finalidad del presente artículo es analizar los modelos ideales de relaciones familiares en España, a partir de los roles y responsabilidades que la pareja desempeña tanto en el terreno laboral como en el familiar. Con tal fin, la estrategia de análisis seguida consta de dos fases. En la primera se analizan las preferencias de la población española acerca del tipo de familia en el que les gustaría vivir (modelo ideal de familia), al tiempo que se observa cómo ha ido evolucionando durante los últimos años las opiniones al respecto. Partiendo de esta primera fase, en la segunda, considerada como eje central, se profundiza en el análisis de estos ideales de familia y se presentan cuáles son las variables sociodemográficas que más influyen (o los grupos de población que más identificados están) en uno de los modelos ideales, el denominado igualitario.
