Modelos empíricos de oligopolio: Una revisión

Abstract

En este trabajo se repasa la literatura de una de las ramas de la economía industrial empírica: los estudios intraindustriales. La finalidad es proporcionar un conocimiento más preciso de este tipo de modelos. Primero se describe su estructura general, analizando con cierto detalle las dificultades que han de ser superadas para lograr la identificación del comportamiento y comentando las diferentes vías entre las que se puede optar para alcanzar ese objetivo. Posteriormente se sistematizan las decisiones de especificación relevantes ofreciendo ejemplos respecto a cómo abordarlas a partir tanto de trabajos tradicionales como de otros más recientes.
