La incorporación del origen étnico indígena en los registros administrativos de la Ciudad de México

Abstract

Este documento se centra en analizar el potencial de los registros administrativos como una valiosa fuente de datos desagregados por origen étnico indígena. Estos datos, a su vez, deben ser confiables, recopilados de forma periódica y transparentes, con el fin de construir mediciones precisas de las desigualdades existentes basadas en el origen étnico indígena. Asimismo, se busca que estos datos sean útiles para mejorar la eficacia de las políticas implementadas para abordar dichas desigualdades. La necesidad de contar con datos desglosados surge de las obligaciones establecidas por el derecho internacional de los derechos humanos, así como de los compromisos adquiridos en el marco de la Agenda 2030 para el Desarrollo Sostenible.
