Abstract

Ce manuel décrit les principales caractéristiques du nouveau Module pour Analyser la Croissance du Commerce International (MAGIC pour son acronyme en anglais), développé par le bureau sous-régional de la Commission économique pour l’Amérique latine et les Caraïbes (CEPALC) au Mexique. La première partie fait la description du développement du MAGIC et de ses caractéristiques principales, ainsi que des normes techniques nécessaires pour utiliser le logiciel. La deuxième partie décrit chacun des modules qui font partie du nouveau MAGIC, leurs fonctions ainsi que les paramètres requis avant de l’utiliser. Cette partie contient également un exemple d’interprétation des données et des indicateurs compris dans chaque module. Finalement, l’annexe apporte des outils pour comprendre et interpréter les données dans le MAGIC, comme : un glossaire, une table de référence de l’unité de quantité de volume, un tableau où des erreurs techniques sont identifiées et traitées, ainsi que les formules mathématiques utilisées pour calculer les indicateurs du MAGIC.
