Salud y cambio climático: metodologías y políticas públicas

Abstract

Desde la primera conferencia global sobre salud y cambio climático en 2014 se ha evidenciado la necesidad de fomentar estrategias comunes entre actores clave para reducir y adaptarse a los efectos del cambio climático sobre la salud. En esta publicación se presenta un análisis de la relación entre cambio climático y salud en relación con las condiciones sociales, económicas y ambientales, así como los análisis y procesos de capacitación respecto a los potenciales impactos del cambio climático en la incidencia de enfermedades sensibles en los países de la región del Sistema de Integración Centroamericana (SICA). Asimismo, se presentan metodologías y buenas prácticas para formular y evaluar políticas públicas orientadas al tema, recogiendo experiencias relevantes en dichos países.
