Módulo para Analizar el Crecimiento del Comercio Internacional (MAGIC): manual de uso

Abstract

En este manual se describen las principales características del nuevo Módulo para Analizar el Crecimiento del Comercio Internacional (MAGIC, por sus siglas en inglés), desarrollado por la sede subregional de la Comisión Económica para América Latina y el Caribe (CEPAL) en México. En una primera parte se describe el desarrollo del MAGIC y sus características principales, así como los requisitos técnicos necesarios para usar el software. En una segunda parte se describen cada uno de los módulos que componen el nuevo MAGIC, sus funcionalidades y los parámetros requeridos antes de consultarlo. Asimismo, se lleva a cabo un ejercicio de interpretación de los datos e indicadores contenidos en cada módulo. Finalmente, en la sección de anexos se provee al usuario de herramientas para ayudarlo a comprender e interpretar los datos en el MAGIC: un glosario, una tabla de referencia de unidad de volumen y una tabla en la que se identifican y solucionan algunos errores técnicos, así como el desglose de las fórmulas matemáticas de los indicadores del MAGIC.
