Acciones estratégicas para profundizar la integración económica en Centroamérica

Abstract

Este documento se analizan cinco acciones estratégicas para profundizar la integración económica centroamericana, tomando en cuenta áreas como la homologación de requisitos, el libre movimiento de mercancías y la armonización de la legislación regional. Dichas acciones son: a) profundizar los procesos de reconocimiento de registros sanitarios; b) fortalecer la Directriz Sanitaria y Fitosanitaria Centroamericana; c) analizar las regulaciones aplicables al intercambio comercial de las mercancías producidas en Regímenes Aduaneros Especiales; d) ampliar el porcentaje de armonización de las Normas de Origen Centroamericanas a la luz de las Normas de Origen negociadas en los distintos Tratados de Libre Comercio suscritos por los países de la región, y e) disminuir la cantidad de partidas no armonizadas del Arancel Centroamericano de Importación, a la luz de los programas de desgravación de los principales Tratados de Libre Comercio.
