Centroamérica: estadísticas del subsector eléctrico, 2010

Abstract

En este documento se presentan los cuadros regionales y nacionales con datos estadísticos de la industria eléctrica en los países de Centroamérica, actualizados a 2010. Contiene información sobre la capacidad instalada, la producción y la demanda en cada uno de los países y por tecnología, así como de los mercados mayoristas y regulados de electricidad. Además, en esta edición se han incluido los cuadros y los gráficos de precios finales de la electricidad para los principales grupos de consumidores.En la sección de hechos relevantes se describen las principales inversiones realizadas en la subregión con especial atención en las nuevas plantas generadoras de electricidad, la producción de electricidad por país y fuentes primarias, las ventas y el avance en las interconexiones eléctricas internacionales. Constituye un documento único en su género, cuya conformación ha sido posible gracias a la colaboración de las instituciones nacionales y subregionales del sector eléctrico.
