Haití : evolución económica durante 2010 y perspectivas para 2011

Abstract

Un an et demi après lee séisme qui a ravagé Haïti en janvier 2010, il est temps de faire le point sur le relèvement et la reconstruction du pays. Signalons, tout d'abord, que selon l'Institut haïtien de statistique et d'informatique (IHSI) le PIB aurait connu une réduction estimée à 5,1 % en termes réels pour l'exercice fiscal 2010, un chiffre bien inférieur aux prévisions (-8,1 %). La hausse de 15 % de la consommation finale effective des ménages —attribuable aux transferts de fonds et aux dons en nature— y est sans doute pour beaucoup. Au plan sectoriel, le secteur agricole ayant été relativement moins touché, une crise plus sévère a pu être évitée malgré les pertes essuyées par le secteur des manufactures (-15 %) et celui des activités commerciales (-8 %).
