Abstract

Este documento contiene las estadísticas de la industria petrolera de los países de Centroamérica con datos actualizados a 2009, constituye una publicación anual elaborada por la Sede Subregional en México de la Comisión Económica para América Latina y el Caribe (CEPAL). Ha sido preparado por la Unidad de Energía y Recursos Naturales a partir de la información proporcionada por las oficinas encargadas de supervisar los subsectores de hidrocarburos de los países. El informe consta de cinco grupos de cuadros: el primero corresponde al valor de las importaciones y precios; el segundo a los balances de petróleo y derivados; el tercero al consumo interno de derivados de petróleo; el cuarto a la procedencia de las importaciones y la capacidad de almacenamiento; y el quinto y último, a la estructura de los mercados. La sección de gráficos también se divide en cinco grupos: el primero corresponde a la procedencia de las importaciones; el segundo a la evolución de los precios de los combustibles; el tercero al consumo de los derivados del petróleo; el cuarto al balance de los hidrocarburos; y el quinto y último, al impacto de las importaciones en la balanza comercial. Se ha incluido un resumen con los hechos relevantes acaecidos en el mercado de hidrocarburos de la región en 2009. Abstract Central America: Hydrocarbons Industry Statistics, 2009 This report contains hydrocarbons industry statistics of countries of Central America with updated data to 2009, and constitutes an annual publication prepared by the Headquarters in Mexico of the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC). It has been prepared by the Energy and Natural Resources Unit , from the information provided by the offices entrusted to supervise the subsectors of hydrocarbons of the countries. The report consists of five groups of charts; the first one corresponds to import values and prices; the second to petroleum and hydrocarbons balances; the third to domestic demand of hydrocarbons; the fourth to country of origin of imports and storage capacity; and the fifth refers to market structures. The figures section also divides in five groups; the first one corresponds to country of origin of imports; the second to evolution of fuel prices; the third to domestic demand of hydrocarbons; the fourth to petroleum and hydrocarbons balances; and the fifth to the impact of the imports in the commercial balance. A summary of the relevant facts happened in the market of hydrocarbons of the region in 2009 has been included.
