Abstract

El presente estudio se elaboró a solicitud del Ministerio de Planificación del Desarrollo (MPD) de Bolivia formulada a la Secretaría Ejecutiva de la Comisión Económica para América Latina y el Caribe (CEPAL). Esta cooperación se realiza en el marco del apoyo a evaluaciones nacionales de desastres del Global Facility for Disaster Risk Reduction, GFDRR (Unidad global para la reducción de riesgos de desastres), del Banco Mundial. La evaluación no habría sido posible sin la colaboración muy valiosa de distintas entidades, viceministerios y ministerios, fondos de desarrollo y otras agencias a nivel central, departamental y municipal. Se contó con el apoyo y cooperación del sistema de las Naciones Unidas en Bolivia y con el apoyo específico de varias agencias del sistema. Abstract: Evolution of the accumulated and additional impact of La Niña. Bolivia 2008 This report was elaborated upon the request of the Ministry of Development Planning (MPD) of Bolivia, by ECLAC's Executive Secretary. This cooperation was realized within the framework of national disaster evaluations of the Global Facility for Disaster Risk Reduction, GFDRR (Global unit for reducing disaster risks), of the World Bank. The evaluation was made possible with the valuable collaboration of distinct entities, vice ministers and ministries, development funds, and other central level agencies, departments and municipalities. The elaboration of the report was also aided by the help and cooperation of the system of the United Nations, specifically by various agencies within the system.
