Abstract

Este documento contiene las estadísticas de la industria eléctrica de los países del Istmo Centroamericano, publicación anual elaborada por la Sede Subregional en México de la Comisión Económica para América Latina y el Caribe (CEPAL). Se presenta en siete secciones, correspondiendo la primera a los cuadros resúmenes que contienen la información consolidada de la evolución reciente de la industria eléctrica de la región y los resultados reportados durante el 2004.Las siguientes seis secciones corresponden a los reportes por país.La información fue proporcionada por las instituciones oficiales, principalmente por los entes responsables de la regulación de la industria eléctrica, las empresas públicas de electricidad, las Direcciones especializadas de los Ministerios de Energía, las Comisiones encargadas de las políticas de energía y las instancias encargadas de la gestión de los mercados mayoristas de electricidad. Central American Isthmus: Statistics over the industrial sub-sector of electricity ( Data updated until 2004) Abstract: This report contains the statistics for the electric power industry of the countries of the Central American Isthmus, annual publication elaborated by the Mexican regional headquarters of the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC). Its contains seven sections, constituting the first of four summarizing reports that contain consolidated information over the recent evolution of the electric power industry of the region and the reported results for 2004. Each of the seven sections presents a report over a country of the region. The information was put together by the official institutions, mainly by the entities responsible for regulating the electric power industry, the public electricity suppliers, the specialized authorities of the Energy Ministries, the commissions in charge of energy policies and the departments in charge of managing wholesale electricity markets.
