Abstract

El presente documento tiene como objetivo ser una guía para la adopción, adaptación y aplicación en América Latina y el Caribe del “Manual del marco nacional de aseguramiento de calidad en las estadísticas oficiales” de las Naciones Unidas. En la elaboración de esta guía se tomaron como referentes el Manual y sus herramientas de diagnóstico, en la traducción no oficial al español realizada por las oficinas nacionales de estadística de Colombia y México, así como la discusión sobre estos insumos sostenida con los países de la región para recoger las recomendaciones de adaptación al contexto de América Latina y el Caribe.
