Abstract

Describe, evalúa y discute las consecuencias sociales de la crisis en el Uruguay en virtud del impacto de la recesión internacional. Presenta un conjunto de indicadores y a partir de ellos, intenta efectuar una discusión de las implicancias futuras de las condiciones de vida y situación social del país con vistas a caracterizar los problemas y desafíos que el nuevo régimen democrático debe enfrentar en su desempeño de corto y mediano plazo.
