Abstract

Analiza las transformaciones de la estructura socioeconomica ocurridas durante las ultimas decadas, y sus consecuencias sobre la insercion en la fuerza de trabajo de la juventud urbana proveniente de los estratos medio-bajo y bajo. Destaca el aumento de la diferenciacion de la estratificacion social de la educacion superior originada tanto por la desigual calidad de la instruccion impartida por la gran variedad de instituciones que han surgido, como por los crecientes obstaculos para los jovenes populares a ingresar a los niveles superiores de la educacion.
