Abstract

Presenta en forma sucinta la base teorica para el analisis de la asignacion eficiente de recursos, a fin de definir las condiciones en que el funcionamiento de la economia de mercado produciria una asignacion optima de recursos. Analiza las caracteristicas de los mercados de transporte y examina los problemas de las economias de escala, el analisis de costos y algunas consecuencias de politicas, para finalizar considerando los problemas especiales de los mercados internacionales del transporte.
