Abstract

Destaca los rasgos principales de la economia venezolana, dando una vision de conjunto de las variables estrategicas cuyo comportamiento se estima clave en la caracterizacion de distintos perfiles del desarrollo que se aspira a estudiar utilizando el Modelo Economico y Social. Describe las caracteristicas basicas del Modelo, su forma de operar, las variables que contiene, y se dan pautas para la definicion de los escenarios de desarrollo, las cuales tienen relacion con el ritmo de crecimiento economico, tecnologia, empleo, distribucion del ingreso, sector externo, etc.
