Abstract

Analiza la industria de la cana de azucar y su uso en la produccion de alcohol en Brasil en relacion con los intereses de las empresas transnacionales. Resume la situacion en la industria del azucar hasta aproximadamente la mitad de los anos setenta, y examina los cambios ocurridos en la industria del alcohol y los sectores productivos interligados en la segunda mitad de los setenta, destacando la eventual presencia e intereses extranjeros.
