Políticas de población: un manual para formuladores de políticas y planificadores

Abstract

El manual ha sido escrito como una guía para quienes formulan políticas, para los planificadores y otros individuos interesados en políticas de población explícitas. Previo la definición de política de población, se discuten los elementos comunes de las políticas, analizándose la esencia de aquéllas elaboradas por escrito en 20 países. Asimismo, se discuten el proceso de puesta en práctica y las disposiciones institucionales, precisándose las interrogantes que deben orientar la formulación de una política de población.
