Abstract

El documento revisa las principales etapas necesarias para la formulación del diseño de una propuesta de investigación. El énfasis se sitúa en: a) los fundamentos de la elección de un tema en el área de la población y el desarrollo; b) los propósitos generales y el tipo de investigación; c) las formas de identificar y delimitar un problema relevante; d) la búsqueda de antecedentes referenciales teóricos, conceptuales y estadísticos para enmarcar el problema de investigación; e) las variables de análisis; f) el significado de las hipótesis y la utilización de las mismas con sus elementos constituyentes e indicadores respectivos; g) la operacionalización de las variables; h) los resultados esperados; i) los procedimientos metodológicos pertinentes a las interrogantes e hipótesis planteadas.
