Abstract

El documento, producto de un intercambio docente entre el Instituto de Sociología de la Universidad Católica y el CELADE, se basa en los contenidos de dos cursos dictados en 1988 en el area de programacion social y dinamica de la poblacion. Su objetivo es servir como texto para la capacitacion en los pasos metodologicos orientados a disenar, monitorear y evaluar intervenciones a nivel de programas, y tiene como referente empirico el caso chileno en los sectores educacion, salud, vivienda, justicia y poblacion. La primera parte privilegia la discusion de los conceptos basicos. Las tres siguientes corresponden a los pasos logicos de una intervención social y la ultima parte entrega una visión alternativa y participativa de la programación social.
