Abstract

Durante el primer ano de la segunda fase de operaciones, el DOCPAL ha otorgado mayor enfasis al desarrollo de la infraestructura para la documentacion en poblacion en los paises de la region, al tiempo que ha continuado enriqueciendo y mejorando la base de datos computarizada, asi como los servicios regionales producto de la misma. Durante este periodo -Marzo 1979-Febrero 1980- las actividades se centraron en: a).la creacion de una tecnologia adecuada a las necesidades de las instituciones por paises; b).el inicio de la transferencia de esta tecnologia a los paises; c).el mejoramiento de la productividad interna del sistema; d).la contribucion al desarrollo de un sistema internacional de documentacion en poblacion
