Abstract

El Programa de Investigacion Social sobre Problemas de Poblacion Relevantes para Politicas de Poblacion en America Latina (PISPAL), constituye un esfuerzo conjunto de los centros de investigacion de la region, apoyados por agencias internacionales. Su objetivo general es promover y realizar estudios interdisciplinarios sobre poblacion y desarrollo, produciendo informacion cientifica como base de politicas de poblacion integradas a los planes de desarrollo. El programa se estructura en base a centros miembros, centros asociados, el comite de programa y la Unidad Central, con sede en CELADE, Santiago. Se detallan las actividades de investigacion, diseminacion de la informacion, asistencia tecnica y los seminarios y talleres realizados por la Unidad Central asi como el plan de trabajo y presupuesto para 1976-77
