La viabilidad estructural de la planificación del desarrollo y su impacto sobre las políticas de población

Abstract

El razonamiento central es que la interdependencia de los procesos demograficos y socioeconomicos hace que las politicas de poblacion esten sujetas a los condicionantes estructurales de la planificacion en terminos de sus objetivos, metas y estrategias de implementacion. Dichos condicionantes se definen a partir del papel atribuido al Estado en el proceso de acumulacion y reproduccion del capital en una formacion social dada; este depende de la fase de desarrollo del modo de produccion dominante, de la necesidad de reproducir las condiciones objetivas de las relaciones de dominacion y de las caracteristicas de los conflictos de clase dentro de la sociedad.
