La estructura de la produccion y las migraciones externas del Paraguay

Abstract

El marco teorico de la investigacion parte de la relacion entre la motivacion a emigrar y las condiciones estructurales de Paraguay, derivadas de una situacion de capitalismo dependiente, en que la hegemonia reside en la burguesia mercantil aliada a la burocracia estatal. Las migraciones externas paraguayas se dirigen, sobre todo, a Argentina, pais en el que se habrian establecido algo mas de 350 mil paraguayos entre 1950 y 1970 (p30). A pesar de las desfavorables condiciones en que se encontro la economia de Argentina durante la mayor parte de ese periodo, ese pais no dejo de ser un buen polo de atraccion para los paraguayos, en razon de sus niveles de ingresos personales y de sus posibilidades de empleo
