Emigracion de personal calificado en America Latina; proyecto de investigacion

Abstract

Luego de una sintesis de los principales lineamientos conceptuales del analisis del exodo intelectual en America Latina, se plantea que la investigacion se propone ponderar todas las opticas analiticas, eligiendo las de mayor capacidad descriptiva y explicativa del proceso. El estudio se centrara en la migracion de personal latinoamericano calificado de nivel superior e intermedio, abarcando el conjunto de paises de la region para los aspectos descriptivos y seleccionando cuatro o cinco naciones para los aspectos explicativos. El periodo a investigarse cubrira fundamentalmente entre 1960 y 1975. Entre las actividades previstas figuran el estudio descriptivo de conjunto, los estudios de casos de tipo explicativo y el estudio explicativo de conjunto. La investigacion se llevara a cabo en dos anos, en el marco institucional correspondiente a CEPAL-CELADE
