Encuesta Nacional de Fecundidad de El Salvador: esquema metodologico para el analisis de los datos

Abstract

Se sugieren dos propositos generales en torno a la informacion recogida en 3500 mujeres en edad fertil (1973): conocer el nivel y tendencias de la fecundidad y hacer que la encuesta sirva para evaluar los efectos de los programas de planificacion familiar. El analisis comprendera cinco etapas que cubren los objetivos especificos de la investigacion: a).estudio de la representatividad de las mujeres seleccionadas y descripcion de las mujeres entrevistadas; b).analisis de la historia obstetrica de las mujeres en terminos de embarazos, muertes fetales y nacidos vivos; c).estudio de la anticoncepcion; d).estudio de la interrelacion entre conducta sexual, anticoncepcion, mortalidad fetal y fecundidad; e).analisis de aspectos explicativos de la fecundidad no considerados anteriormente, como la estructura familiar, conducta de nupcialidad e ideales de la mujer sobre edad al casarse y numero de hijos. Cerraran este plan de analisis, las conclusiones y resultados que puedan adelantarse para los programas de planificacion familiar
