Desarrollo frutícola en Chile y sus transformaciones sociales

Abstract

Analiza las politicas encaminadas a estimular la fruticultura de tipo industrial orientada a la exportacion hacia paises del hemisferio norte. Investiga los cambios ocurridos en el valor de la tierra y en su distribucion, demanda de mano de obra, regimen de trabajo y de remuneracion. Presta especial atencion a los productores dedicados a esta actividad, las condiciones que llevaron a la formacion de este tipo de empresarios, los instrumentos financieros, comerciales y tecnicos que los han sustentado. Por ultimo, se evaluan las derivaciones sociales de esta modalidad de desarrollo fruticola.
