La mortalidad en la niñez en Centroamérica, Panamá y Bélice 1970-1985

Abstract

Presenta las principales características de la mortalidad en la niñez en Centroamérica, Panamá y Belice, y la situación de la mortalidad en el menor de 5 años en cada país de la subregión. Los informes por países reunidos en el volumen corresponden al estudio sobre la mortalidad en la ninez en Centroamerica, Panama y Belice, para el periodo 1970-1985. Previo un resumen d las principales carcteristicas de la variable en el conjunto de los paises estudiados, se presentan los casos de Belice, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua y Panama. El esquema comun a los informes incluye: una discusion del material y metodos utilizados; niveles, tendencias y estructura por edad de la mortalidad en la niñez; causas de muerte; síntesis y bibliografía.
