Tasas de fecundidad de las mujeres que ingresan a los programas de planificacion de la familia

Abstract

Se han elaborado diversas tecnicas para la obtencion de tasas de fecundidad especifica por edad a traves del numero medio de nacidos vivos por edad de las madres. En este trabajo se desarrolla un modelo biologistico para estimar las tasas de las mujeres ingresadas a algunos programas de planificacion familiar de la region en 1976 en base a los datos de paridez media y edad de las madres. De la informacion disponible para 9 programas solo fue posible aplicar el modelo a 6 debido a la calidad de los datos.
