La introduccion de las variables demograficas en la planificacion regional

Abstract

Discusion de algunos topicos que se refieren a la forma de introducir las variables demograficas (fecundidad, mortalidad, participacion en la fuerza de trabajo y migracion) en la planificacion regional. En tal sentido, en primer termino se indaga, por un lado, acerca de cuales son los determinantes de la dinamica demografica para apreciar los insumos que se requieren para producir proyecciones de poblacion compatibles con las acciones que encare la planificacion regional; y por otro, acerca de los insumos demograficos que requiere la planificacion regional. Una vez completado ese examen, se realiza una indagacion acerca de como introducir las variables demograficas conjuntamente con las economicas de modo que queden organicamente integradas. En este ultimo aspecto se hace referencia a un tipo de modelo economico que permite ilustrar tal integracion.
