La planificacion del desarrollo y la redistribucion espacial de la poblacion en el Peru

Abstract

A partir de 1950, se acelera el crecimiento de la poblacion peruana que pasa de 8 millones de personas a 16 millones en 1977 (p10). Se supone que en el ano 2150 se alcanzara una poblacion estacionaria de 76 millones (p11). En cuanto a su distribucion geografica, se aprecia la tendencia a su concentracion en el litoral y, especificamente, en Lima Metropolitana. La redistribucion espacial de esta poblacion forma parte de una politica de cambio estructural de la organizacion del territorio. La implementacion de una politica redistributiva de la poblacion requiere contar con un plan de desarrollo a largo plazo, que precise la localizacion de las actividades economicas y prevea los empleos a generarse y las necesidades de infraestructura y servicios
