Gestión de la informática en las empresas ferroviarias de América Latina y España

Abstract

En la primera parte, se examinan los modelos de gestion existentes en las empresas ferroviarias de America Latina y Espana; las consideraciones que se deben tener en cuenta para el diseno de sistemas de informacion de apoyo a la gestion ferroviaria y las posibilidades de cooperacion tecnica en relacion con el desarrollo de estos sistemas. La segunda parte esta constituida por monografias que describen algunas de las aplicaciones computacionales desarrolladas para el control de gestion y para la gestion operativa de aspectos tales como la reserva de asientos para pasajeros, el manejo de las existencias de repuestos y materiales y el control de vagones.
