Abstract

En este informe se ofrece un panorama detallado de la metodología utilizada para elaborar la revisión de 2019 de las estimaciones y las proyecciones oficiales de población de las Naciones Unidas preparadas por la División de Población del Departamento de Asuntos Económicos y Sociales (DAES) de la Secretaría de las Naciones Unidas. La revisión de 2019 es la 26a ronda de estimaciones y proyecciones demográficas mundiales elaborada por la División de Población desde 1951.
