Proyecciones de población de cinco países sudamericanos: comparación con América Latina

Abstract

En este Boletín se presenta el resultado de revisiones de las estimaciones de población para Argentina, Bolivia, Brasil, Paraguay y Perú, lo que ha sido posible debido a que para estos países se cuenta con información más reciente de censos, encuestas y/o registros que han permitido establecer nuevos valores para las variables demográficas. Junto con incluir las proyecciones de la población total hasta el año 2000, se agregan las correspondientes a la población urbana y rural y a la población económicamente activa urbana y rural, todas ellas desglosadas por sexo y edad. También se presenta para cada uno de estos cinco países un cuadro con indicadores demográficos.
