Futuro de las familias y desafíos para las políticas

Abstract

En esta publicación se compilan las exposiciones, los comentarios y el debate de la reunión de especialistas "Futuro de las familias y desafíos para las políticas", realizada por la División de Desarrollo Social en la sede de la Comisión Económica para América Latina (CEPAL);, en Santiago, los días 22 y 23 de noviembre de 2007. En la realización de esta reunión CEPAL contó con el auspicio del Fondo de Población de las Naciones Unidas (UNFPA); y del Fondo de Desarrollo de las Naciones Unidas para la Mujer (UNIFEM);. La estructura del texto es la siguiente: se inicia con la sesión de apertura y continúa con una mesa redonda sobre el futuro de las familias, prosigue con un apartado sobre los desafíos que enfrentan las políticas y finalmente, se presenta una síntesis de los principales temas de debate y se incluyen como anexos el programa de la reunión y la lista de participantes. Asimismo se recogen las presentaciones realizadas en el lanzamiento del libro de CEPAL y UNFPA Familias y políticas públicas en América Latina. Una historia de desencuentros.
