Síndromes de sostenibilidad ambiental del desarrollo en Colombia: taller "Síndromes de sostenibilidad del desarrollo en América Latina"

Abstract

Basado en el concepto de Síndromes de Sostenibilidad del Desarrollo, concepto desarrollado por el Proyecto evaluación de la Sostenibilidad en América Latina y el Caribe", como una extensión y generalización del concepto de síndromes de cambio global- definidos por el German Advisory Council on Global Change, 1996 (WBGU), y en la descripción de cinco síndromes causales de sostenibilidad del desarrollo seleccionados para Colombia, se construyen las gráficas de los círculos viciosos y de redes de interacciones globales para los cinco siguientes síndromes: sobre explotación de recursos pesqueros; metropolización y urbanización; vertimiento de desechos; alienígena (con énfasis en la introducción de especies hidrobiológicas); • Cartel: describe los impactos del comercial de plantas productoras de drogas ilícitas. Se presenta también, una aproximación de la aplicabilidad, en Colombia, de los 12 síndromes de Cambio Global, dentro de los cuales, se inscriben tres de los cinco síndromes descritos en este documento. Los síndromes del cultivo comercial de plantas productoras de drogas ilícitas- llamados acá síndrome del Cartel y en síndrome Alienígena, son nuevos para esta lista de doce síndromes."
