Violencia contra la mujer en la pareja: respuestas de la salud pública en El Alto, Bolivia

Abstract

La Unidad Mujer y Desarrollo de la CEPAL ha decidido promover un trabajo de análisis y reflexión sobre la atención y respuesta que dan los servicios de salud a las mujeres que sufren violencia. El objetivo es acercarse a la problemática para identificar los desafíos que surgen de las declaraciones políticas y normas nacionales e internacionales ante la situación real de la atención en los servicios de salud a las mujeres víctimas de violencia. Se realizó un estudio cualitativo orientado a recuperar aspectos particulares en un contexto local específico, concentrándose en el análisis de casos que den pautas de lo que ocurre en situaciones reales.
