Abstract

Este documento realiza una revisión de las leyes y marcos institucionales que resguardan el Principio 10 de la Declaración de Río sobre el Medio Ambiente y el Desarrollo de 1992, referido al acceso a la información, participación y justicia en asuntos ambientales, , en los 33 países de América Latina y el Caribe. La información recopilada se complementó con un cuestionario sobre la implementación nacional del Principio 10 aplicado durante el primer trimestre de 2013 y que fue respondido por 16 países de la región y 10 organizaciones de la sociedad civil.
