Metodologías aplicadas en América Latina para anticipar demandas de las empresas en materia de competencias técnicas y profesionales

Abstract

En vista de los profundos, permanentes y rápidos cambios tecnológicos y organizacionales que atraviesa el sector productivo, resulta importante poder identificar y anticipar las demandas de mediano y largo plazo en materia de los saberes requeridos tanto en las ocupaciones actuales como en los puestos de trabajo emergentes. También es relevante que estas nuevas demandas se difundan entre los diversos actores sociales. Este documento realiza un relevamiento de algunas de las metodologías utilizadas en los países de América Latina para conocer el grado de avance en relación a los análisis de demandas presentes y futuras en materia de habilidades y en su difusión. Se identificó un conjunto de experiencias tanto de carácter macroeconómico y econométrico; como de encuestas a empresas, de observatorios laborales, de estudios sectoriales y otros tales como certificación de competencias.
