Evolución del empleo y de la productividad en el sector agropecuario en México

Abstract

En este estudio sobre la evolución del empleo y de la productividad en el sector agropecuario en México se constata una estructura productiva del sector altamente heterogénea, presentándose, asimismo, profundas brechas intrasectoriales de productividad. La mayor parte de la oferta agropecuaria se origina en una pequeña proporción de unidades productivas empresariales, en las que labora la mayor parte de los asalariados formales y una elevada proporción de los jornaleros. Existe también un sector de agricultura comercial de base familiar que combina el trabajo por cuenta propia con otras fuentes de ingreso, incluyendo el trabajo asalariado; a su vez, también contratan asalariados para su proceso productivo agropecuario.
