Argentina: reformas fiscales, crecimiento e inversión (2000-2014)

Abstract

En el presente documento se analiza lo sucedido en Argentina con las políticas de gasto e ingresos fiscales desde la crisis de principios de siglo (cuando los desequilibrios fiscales y la imposibilidad para conseguir financiamiento hacían insostenible el mantenimiento del modelo económico de tipo de cambio fijo y convertible, inaugurado 10 años antes) hasta los últimos años, cuando los desequilibrios fiscales son de similar magnitud, pero bajo condiciones muy diferentes. En el entretanto, Argentina experimentó un importante proceso de crecimiento económico, al igual que otros países de la región. Además de revisar las alternativas de la política fiscal en general, el documento pone un énfasis especial en el análisis de la experiencia argentina reciente en materia de políticas públicas de fomento de la inversión.
