Análisis de la cadena de valor del plástico y el caucho en el Uruguay

Abstract

Este documento es un informe final (primer borrador) de la consultoría denominada “Análisis de la Cadena Química-Plástico” que integra un conjunto de consultorías sobre otros sectores a través de las cuales la ONUDI conjuntamente con la CEPAL y la Oficina del Coordinador Residente (OCR) en Uruguay buscan la adaptación de las metodologías de diagnóstico de Cadenas Globales de Valor (CGV) a la realidad del Uruguay para identificar el potencial de actividades productivas del país en cuanto a la generación de valor agregado y generación de empleo a través de la metodología EQuIP. En particular, la iniciativa pretende contribuir al desarrollo de herramientas para el análisis de las oportunidades del país en cadenas de valor estratégicas, y en ese marco se ha seleccionado, en consulta con las contrapartes gubernamentales, al sector química-plástica.
