La erosión del orden neoliberal del mundo

Abstract

Los desajustes comerciales y financieros a escala global, que culminaron con detonar la gran recesión de 2008-2009, hicieron evidente el quiebre del orden económico internacional basado en el "Consenso de Washington" y su insistencia a liberalizar, estabilizar y privatizar como objetivos centrales de la política económica, urbi et orbi. En el presente estudio se analiza el quiebre de este modelo mediante los cambios en las esferas financieras y productivas mundiales. Parte importante del trabajo es identificar la forma en que las contradicciones analíticas del modelo y las desavenencias políticas entre las naciones líderes impiden aplicar una política económica eficiente para poder salir de los efectos adversos de la gran recesión y retomar la prosperidad conjunta. El estudio concluye en la necesidad de contar con nuevas instituciones que reemplacen a las del viejo orden internacional para encontrar alternativas a la aguda problemática que afecta a la economía mundial hoy en día
